Journeymen stow their belongings in the so-called Charlottenburger (or Berliner or Charly). The artistic technique of folding a large 80 by 80 cm cloth is passed down from journeyman to journeyman. The traveller keeps the necessary tools, work stuff, underwear, shirts and toiletries in their Charlottenburger. < /p>
